In "Street," photographers George Georgiou and Susan Andrews explore the diverse ways in which people inhabit public streets.
Working from distinct perspectives, Susan Andrews examines everyday life in multicultural East London as seen through her car window on her daily commute, while George Georgiou takes a viewpoint from the opposite side of the street, surveying crowds attending parades across America.
Not only do they frame their observations through different lenses - one intimate and the other expansive - but the subject matter is resolved through different media: Georgiou’s images form large-scale black and white prints, while Andrews' colour images comprise moving image and multiple formats.
